Cookie Policy: How Cookies Are Used
Last updated: 7 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Online Betting Australia ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit funfilesandsmiles.com (the "website"). It forms part of our overall approach to your privacy when you use our services.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet or mobile) when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device and remember certain information about your visit, such as your preferences or how you use the site. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, work in comparable ways and are covered by this policy.
Why we use cookies
We use cookies to keep the website functioning properly, to understand how visitors use our services, and — where you have given consent — to tailor content and offers to your interests. Cookies also help us maintain the security of the website and comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the website to operate. They enable core functions such as page navigation, secure access to your account, load balancing and fraud prevention. Without them, the website cannot deliver the services you request. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent, because the website cannot function without them.
Analytical cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the website — for example, which pages are visited most often, where visitors come from and whether they encounter errors. This information is aggregated and used to improve the website’s performance and content. Analytical cookies are only set with your consent.
Marketing cookies
These cookies are used to deliver content and offers that are relevant to your interests and to measure the effectiveness of promotional campaigns. They may be set by us or by third parties with whom we work. Marketing cookies are only placed with your consent, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.
Managing and withdrawing your consent
When you first visit funfilesandsmiles.com, you will see a cookie banner that lets you accept, reject or customise the categories of cookies described above. You can change your preferences at any time afterwards:
- Via the cookie settings link available in the footer of every page of the website, which reopens the consent manager;
- By contacting us at [email protected] with any questions or requests regarding your cookie preferences.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. However, please note that if you refuse or withdraw consent for certain categories, some parts of the website may not work as intended.
Configuring your browser
In addition to our consent tools, you can control cookies directly through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- Block all cookies or only third-party cookies;
- Delete cookies that have already been stored on your device;
- Be notified before a cookie is placed.
The exact steps differ between browsers. You will find guidance for the major browsers under their "Help" or "Settings" menus. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from using key features of the website, such as logging into your account.
Important note for Australian visitors
Online Betting Australia is committed to responsible gambling. If you are registered with BetStop, the National Self-Exclusion Register, we do not send you marketing communications of any kind, and cookies will not be used to target you with gambling-related advertising. If you have concerns about gambling-related content, support is available through national problem-gambling support services.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last revised. Significant changes will be highlighted on the website before they take effect.
